What do you know about looking in all the wrong places and trying to fit into all the wrong spaces? I've been so fixed on the scrawniest of a thing. So incredibly, passionately fixed and have had my eyes set on one little droplet of water. I've been watching it, suspended, for so long. Awaiting the time it will cascade it down into my well. But no dice. When is it coming? Thinking I can make it move. Thinking I can surely draw this one toward me. But maybe it wasn't even a droplet at all. Maybe nothing was there at all.

So far so good on the film front, 2011
So I just went and saw Blue Valentine last night. One of the best films I have seen in a long time. It's so refreshing to have a film that is the perfect mix of romance and reality, and the chemistry between the two made this story so captivating and true. The story is a little disheartening and hits close to home for most who have ever been in love- but its something so real. People change, relationships dwindle, and no matter how in love you are, there's always something to work on. This stylish, less than fairytale story is truly a worthwhile sit.

Litas on my mind...
How amazing are these shoes! Jeffery Campell's Litas are killing me softly. 5" wood or synthetic heel with 2" at the sole. My goal is to own a pair, in black, by fall. You can purchase some newer colors and styles on Nastygal, but originals are on backorder everywhere online. Go to Solestruck.com to be placed on a wait list. May be well worth the wait.

Dirty Love, A playlist
This mix has lots of love put into it- in two ways. First, It took me about two hours to produce it, so a lot of thought went into each song selection. Second, literally the theme is love, relationships, and the embracing what beautiful people we are. These songs are some of mine and Olivia's fav's lately that we have shared with one another. Hopefully there's some new material for you too. Soak it up.

I am always trying to get back to some imaginary somewhere. My life has been one long longing.
Lindi and I just got off the phone, reminiscing and realizing that we're not exactly ladies of the now. We've both sworn in on living the road less traveled and are true blood sisters in that sense. But life is frustrating when the seeds you sew in your mind don't come into fruition. And then you're stuck wondering why. and searching for Prince Charming! My head is always in the clouds, that's for sure. If Lindi and I's dreams underwent physical metamorphosis, we'd be living somewhere off an abandoned shore, up in huts such as these. We'd be in our own little worlds all the time. HOWEVER, there'd be a can telephone-line draped between our windows. Only to tell each other funny things, wild dreams, ask profound Qs. Nobody is aloud up into our huts, except for cute boys... that have the humor and strength to visit us here without complaining about the truck up. The only time we leave is to scoop fresh water and local foods. we hold hands during this gathering, of course. We love life and aren't worried about being alone. for it's where we belong anyway.

From the streets of Chicago
I suppose a formal introduction might be nice since I'll be collaborating with Olivia on here every once in a while. I'm Lindi, currently moving about the US but my main city squeeze is Chicago.
I work as a flight attendant by day and kick it in the comedy scene every once in a while by night.I'm stoked to bring you what I know from Chicago and other places my travels take me- from the music to the lifestyle that each place offers. Two contemporary ladies bringing you knowledge out of two contemporary cities. Nice to meet you, the pleasure is all mine. Now let's jam.

My best girl Lindi graced LA with her presence this weekend. She's a flight attendant and was in for just 30 hrs. so we sponged up every minute of day and night. the most fun I've had in a long time. we lost our keys, had bottles on the beach, went thrifting, had a pacific Northwest family reunion and hammed it up in hollywood. hello, i love you, let me jump in your game.

Romantic muses
I recently came across this adorably hip couple and let's just say they got my heart pumping. They have a fashion blog together (drool) and it's pretty rad to say the least. Found here--> killlionfashion.blogspot.com this is their description...
"We are Jenny Sirney and Jason Lee Parry...a model/stylist and fashion photographer couple who share a love of style, travel, whiskey, Silverlake, fashion mags, the 60s, and sunny days.
Are you kidding me? Lovers loving life together and leading a kick-ass one to boot. I die. I was first introduced to them in their music video, "No One's Gonna Love You." It's a Band of Horse's (who are one of my all-times) cover by radical Cee lo. this cover might just outdo the original... have a look for yourself. and then die in the beauty.
Allow me to introduce myself...
